Treadstone Funding is a local mortgage company, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that focuses on helping people buy homes with less hassle and more enjoyment, by developing genuine relationships and providing best in class customer service. Ask any Treadstone employee and they’ll tell you they love working there. It is a true work hard, play hard culture.

As the in-house designer for Treadstone since 2013, I have had the pleasure of watching the company grow, as well as keeping the branding updated to reflect that growth.

The branding shown here is the current branding as of 2020. This iteration of the brand introduced handwritten text as one of the main elements. While it would have been a lot easier to pull a handwritten style font, to honor Treadstone's commitment to authentic human connections, all text is actually handwritten with sharpie and scanned/digitized.

 

Over the years I've had my hands in every aspect of Treadstone's visual brand. On the print side, this includes everything from our business cards and stationary, to loan flyers and bios, to mailers and invites. On the digital side, I work on our social media, website, and videos. I've also had to pleasure to work on both interior and exterior building signage across 4 office locations.
